    Visiting @ Reuter Software

     
      On Tuesday 28, 2006 I have a great chance to visit  a great company that work more quality and more efficient. This is a Reuter Thailand that placed at U Chu Lieng Bldg. Then, staffs from Reuter are start lecture. It is a funny lecture one.The big topic in this lecture is software process.
     
      In the software process , They use this for easy to compute more data, convenience to use and have more quality to collect and use it.Process software cycle is depend on tool&utility procedure and people.Greater company develop this three things to be a great company.It can use imagination,idea, requirement market or new something and use to plan procedure step-by-step to get quality data or product.
     
       The life cycle  model used by the organization that serves as the example for this technical note is the Vee model.CMMI practices can be used for process improvement in most service organizations with little interpretation.However, by providing interpretation is consistent and straightforward throughout the organization to all that need to know model practices,This technical note offers one service organization's documented interpretation based on its use of CMMI best practices.
     CMMI or Capability Maturity Model Integration they explain why they use this method to develop. It is a process improvement approach that provides organizations with essential elements of effective process.CMMI should be adapted to each individual company,therefore companies are not certified.
       C- from CAPABILITY LEVELS, which belong to the continuous representation, apply to an organization’s process-improvement achievement for each process area. There are six capability levels, numbered 0 through 5. Each capability level corresponds to a generic goal and a set of generic and specific practices.
       M-from MATURITY LEVEL is a defined evolutionary plateau of process improvement. Each maturity level stabilizes an important part of the organization’s processes. Maturity levels, which belong to the staged representation, apply to an organization’s overall maturity. There are five maturity levels, numbered 1 through 5. Each maturity level comprises a predefined set of process areas.
       M-from MODEL LEVEL is a  components that provide guidance for interpreting model information for specific disciplines (e.g., systems engineering, or software engineering) are called “DISCIPLINE AMPLIFICATIONS.” Discipline amplifications are added to other model components where necessary. These are easy to locate because they appear on the right side of the page and have a title indicating the discipline that they address (for example, “For Software Engineering”
     
      And the last one is I - from integration is  combining things by using method, data to perform it together
     
      In conclusion, today I'm glad to be a part of audience that they share our experience in software development and daily life. I am very appreciate our instructor that give me a chance to make me understand about it and get knowledge more than past.
