Then , he talked about waves of innovation was shown that graph of development and adoption were increased between mid 80s that is PC to application used to mid 00s that is internet and web application used. It shown that many people interested and used this technology more than past. And now there have high technology to make you more convenience such as Wi-Fi, internet advertising, wireless LAN, RFID and anything else. More people use RFID to reserve world cup ticket.             In September 26,2006 Dr.Arak Sutivong lecture in Introduction to ICE class about “Experience in Telecomm industry : International and Domestic”

            In this lecture, they have chance to change opinion between Dr.Arak who work in Qualcomm and student in class about telecommunication’s growth in Thailand was alerted less or more than another country in Asia and around the world. It is important thing to rank each country about growth in communication and it include technology and economic in each country too. You can see that in graph about telecomm industry factoids, it shown revenue in 2006 from global telecom industry was grown to 1.2 trillion dollar US. And this revenue come from wireless accounting for 49% and it will grow to 56% in 4 years.Thailand GDP has one percent of all revenue. And telecom sector is/was among investors’ favorite. What does it mean? It mean that most revenue from Thai people are not come from telecom industry but most of them come from agriculture or technique use of hands. So, you can see different revenue from different work and you can think that why revenue in Thai are less than another country.

             In the second topic, he lecture about life in telecom engineer which have many type to use in daily life. It depend on place, country, technology in company, competitor company and anything else. They have important 6 things to make you have different life style and it can link to another path to make work more quality. They are 1.) Service provider  2.) Technology provider 3.) Equipment manufacturer 4.) Professional services and system integrator 5.) Standards organization and the last is government. Because of this six key are active in the industry, so you could see it how to link them correctly and make profit in company. And it can see obviously that you cannot compare technology between Asian country and US country. Because most country in Asia are consumer of technology (customer to use this technology from another country by change or trading it depend on each company.) Exception in Japan, Korea, Singapore, and India because these countries can compete is close in technology market in world market. And countries which create new technology to make comfortable in life, it can earn money from this country well. By using this summarizes is US: Engineering are less than commercial but in Asian: Engineering have most commercial more than engineering. It can convey about development in each country.  

            Education is one of the best key to make you success in life. Higher educations make you have the better job, better revenue and another thing. It depends on your skill and part which you learn from. MS is probably a minimum in this day and age. But PhD and MBA are optional, when you learn about business (it include economics, marketing, finance, OR, etc.) you will be a great engineer who has more skill and expert to do job well. You can manage anything to make it possibly and you will be a great manager too. You can see potential career paths from this lecture, it can guideline you what to learn and what to be.

            In the last lecture, Dr. Arak has a funny game to test your idea. It is a Monty problem. It about probability problem which you may use this solution method in engineering life.
